The Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers' Association (AIEMA) is an Association of the units set up in the SIDCO Industrial Estate, Ambattur, Chennai 58 /Chennai-98. It was formed in 1963 to cater to the needs of the micro, medium and small scale enterprises of the Ambattur Industrial Estate

The Ambattur Industrial Estate is one of the oldest and well maintained industrial estates in India. More than 2000 manufacturing units are functioning in the estate manufacturing and offering a wide range of products and services ….auto components, industrial machinery, electrical machinery, machine tools, accessories, welding, moulds & dies, CNC, leather and garments, IT related services….

AIEMA is the main representative body of the units in the Estate and liaises with Government institutions, Banks, Industry Associations/Chambers.

AIEMA publishes 'AIEMA News' a monthly news magazine giving the latest developments in the Estate, changes in policies and procedures announced by different institutions, industrial/market scenario, etc.

AIEMA has been publishing Buyers' Guide giving the profiles of members of the Estate. AIEMA organizes its activities through several wings or units which include AIEMA Technology Centre (ATC) , AIEMA Silver Jubilee Trust, AIEMA Technology Centre Educational Trust (ATCET), ACMEE…..each of them is given specific responsibilities.
